(U5627 HELM LANE, NATLAND, C5023 ROAM WOOD, NEAR PENNY BRIDGE AND C5062 BRIGSTEER ROAD, KENDAL) (TEMPORARY TRAFFIC REGULATION) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable BT Openreach to carry out cabling works ("the Works"), the Count/ Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along the following sections of road:
1. U5627 Helm Lane, Natland: From its junction with the A6 Burton Road extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 825m.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of the U5627, US626 and A65.
From: 28 September 2021 for approx. 8 days (Ret SLC2I/34)
2. C5023 Roam Wood, near Penny Bridge: From its junction with the A590 extending in a north westerly direction for approx 365m.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of the C5023, C5022, A5092, and A590.
From: 16 September 2021 for approx I day (Ret SLB2I/26)
3. C5062 Brigsteer Road, Kendal: From its junction with the U883 Underwood extending in a south westerly direction for approx 3km.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted sections of the C5062, C5059, C5048, and U664 Bankfield Road.
From: 27 September 2021 for approx 5 days (Ret SLC2I/35) A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Apply to emergency service vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and
2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and
3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

The Order will come into operation on 16 September 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as specified above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
