APPLICATION FOR NEW PREMISES LICENCE


Notice is hereby given that Punch Taverns Limited has applied in respect of the Cumberland Inn, 22 Botchergate, Carlisle, CA1 1QS for the grant of a new premises licence under the Licensing Act 2003 to permit the following:

The sale of alcohol (for on and off sales), live music and recorded music as follows; Monday to Wednesday from I0:00h until 00:30h the following morning, Thursday and Sunday from I0:00h until 02:00h the following morning, Friday from 09:30h until 03:00h the following morning and Saturday from 09:30h until 04:00h the following morning.

For the above to permit thirty minutes drinking up time following the last permitted sale of alcohol.

For late night refreshment as follows; Monday to Wednesday from 23:00h until 00:30h the following morning, Thursday and Sunday from 23:00h until 02:00h the following morning, Friday from 23:00h until 03:00h the following morning and Saturday from 23:00h until 04:00h the following morning.

The terminal hour to be extended for one hour on bank holiday's, Easter weekend, Christmas Eve and Boxing Day. From the start of permitted hours on New Year's Eve until the end of permitted hours on New Year's Day.

The full application can be viewed at the given address between the hours of 10.00am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. Last date for Representations end of 17th August 2022.

It is an offence to knowingly or recklessly make a false statement in connection with this application. Persons will be liable on summary conviction to an unlimited fine.
