FOOTPATH NOS. 109076 AND 109077 IN THE CITY OF CARLISLE
TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public due to the dangerous condition of the footpaths and to enable reinstatement works to be carried out ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of footpath:
1. An approx. 80 metre length of Public Footpath No. 109076 at The Sheepmount in the City of Carlisle between Grid References: 338924 557055 and 338864 557006; and
2. An approx. 88 metre length of Public Footpath No. 109077 at The Sheepmount in the City of Carlisle between Grid References: 338944 557022 and 338871 557001.
A suitable alternative route for pedestrians will be provided and signed on the ground.
This follows emergency notices dated 17 October 2022 and 7 November 2022.

The Order will come into operation on 28 November 2022 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
