(TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Cumbria County Council on 30 August 2022, which became operative on 5 September 2022, to enable resurfacing works to be carried out ("the Works") and which would otherwise expire on 5 March 2023 has been continued in force with the approval of the Secretary of State for Transport until 5 September 2023.

The effect of the Order is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the along the entire length of Public Footpath No. 109004 at Kingmoor Nature Reserve in the City of Carlisle between Kingmoor Road and its junction with Public Footpath No. 109006.

There is no suitable alternative route available.

If the works have not been completed within the extension period, the Order may be extended for a further period with the approval of the appropriate Minister.
