THE MARRIAGES AND CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS (APPROVED PREMISES) REGULATIONS 2005
NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF PREMISES
Durham County Council being the authority for the purposes of The Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005, HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that an application has been made by:
1) Seaham Hall Management Co Ltd, Seaham Hall, Lord Bryons Walk, Seaham, SR7 7AG proprietor of premises situated at and known as Seaham Hall, Lord Byron's Walk, Seaham, SR7 7AG

2) Mr Colin Ranson, c/o Town Hall, High Street, Spennymoor, DL16 6DG proprietor of premises situated at and known as Town Hall, Spennymoor, DL16 6DG

3) Mr Paul Watson, c/o Shildon Civic Hall, Shildon, DL4 1AH proprietor of premises situated at and known as Shildon Civic Hall, Shildon, DL4 1AH

for approval of those premises for the solemnization of marriages in pursuance of Section 26(1)(bb) of the Marriage Act 1949 as amended (same sex couples) Act 2013, and civil partnership registration in pursuance of Section 6(3A)(a) and Section 6A (3c) of the Civil Partnership Act 2004.
The applications, together with a plan of the premises which accompanied it, may be inspected at Annand House, John Street North, Meadowfield, Durham during opening hours.
Any person may give notice in writing of an objection to the grant of approval of such application, with reasons for the objection, within 21 days from the date of publication of the newspaper in which this notice appears.
