(BYWAY NO. 47 URPETH PARISH & BYWAY NO. 62 STANLEY) (TEMPORARY BYWAY CLOSURE) ORDER 2016

The Council, on 26.05.16 made an Order under Section 14 (1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular and equestrian traffic a 350m length of Byway No. 47 Urpeth Parish and a 310m length of Byway No. 62 Stanley in the vicinity of Home Farm, Beamish that extends between Beamish Golf Club to the junction with Unclassified road 12.1 adjacent to South Lodge to enable block-paving traffic calming works to be undertaken. The maximum duration of the temporary closure under the Order is 6 months and is required from06.06.16andforthedurationoftheworks, anticipatedto be 3 weeks. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: to vehicular traffic from the southern side of the closure from A693 Roundabout south of Beamish Museum westerlyalong A693 thennorthwesterlyviaC128 Hilltoproad / Pelaw Avenue to A6076 then northwards to Beamishburn Road and north easterly to the junction with Byway 62 leading to Beamish Hall to the northern side of the closure, and vice versa.

(C183 PELTON BANK/PELTON LANE, CHESTER-LE-STREET) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2016

The Council proposes in not less than 7 days from the date ofthis notice to make an Order under Section 14 (1) ofthe Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984, as amended, to close to all vehicular traffic a 430m length of C183 Pelton Bank from and including its junction with Villiers Place to, and including, its junction with the road between 22 and 23 Hilda Terrace, Chester-le-Streetbyreasonofcarriagewayresurfacingworksto beundertaken. Themaximumduration ofthetemporaryclosure under the Order is 18 months and is required between 0930 and 1530 hrs perdayfromSun19.06.16andforthedurationofthe works anticipated to be 6 days. However, on rare occasions, alternative dates for closures may be necessary and these will be signed accordingly. Alternative route: from the south eastern side of the closure from Pelton Bank Roundabout northwards on Newcastle Road to A693 Northlands Roundabout then westerly along A693 to the Pelton Roundabout and southerly onto Pelton Lane to the north western side of the closure, and vice versa.
