THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NOS. 572001 and 572003 IN THE PARISH OF STAINTON) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2011
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable the Canal and Rivers Trust to carry out reconstruction works to Stainton Aqueduct ("the Works'), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along the following lengths of footpath;
1. Footpath No.57200l in the Parish of Stainton alongside the canal, for approx. 860m between Grid ref: 352029 485421 and Grid Ref: 352602 484977; and
2. Footpath No.572003 in the Parish of Stainton for approx. 330m between Grid Ref: 352154 485470 and Grid Ref: 352285 485226.

The Order will come into operation on I July 2018 and may
continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date
as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
