CUMBRIA COUNTY COUNCIL THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (VARIOUS ROADS IN THE DISTRICT OF SOUTH LAKELAND)(CONSOLIDATION AND PROVISION OF SPEED LIMITS) (ORDER 2018) VARIATION ORDER (NO.1)20
1. The Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.

The Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
2. The effect of the proposed Order will be to: -

(a) Extend the existing 30 mph speed limit on the A65 south of Endmoor for a distance of 189 metres in a southerly direction; and

(b) Extend the existing 40 mph speed limit on the A65 north of Crooklands for a distance of 527m in a northerly direction.

3. Full details of the proposed Order, together with a statement of the Council's reasons for proposing to make the Order and a copy of the Order to be varied, may be inspected at the offices of Cumbria Highways, County Offices, Kendal and the offices of the undersigned during normal working hours.

4. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send the grounds for your objection in writing to the undersigned, or by emailing kim.baxter@cumbria.gov.uk, by 28 June 2018, marking your correspondence with reference KB/4.4.1005/15.001321.
