EXTENSION TO: THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN

FOOTPATH 1 LIVESEY (PART) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved of the continuing in force of the Order made on 6th March 2017 and effective from 6th March 2017. As the works have not been completed The Secretary of State for Transport granted a further extension of the Order until 6th September 2018 or until completion of work, whichever is the earlier.

6th September 2018

The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the footpath referred to in the Schedule below due to works being carried out on the line of the right of way. The alternative routes available are referred to in the schedule below.

The paths will be closed in the interests of public safety.
