THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN

WITH DARWEN (ECLIPSE ROAD, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council propose to make the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act to allow new sewer and highway alterations under part of the highway.

The effect of the order will be to close the Eclipse Road, Blackburn for its entire length from the southern side of its junction with Feilden Place and Park Farm Road to its southern-most point.

The Order will come into force on 17th April 2017 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. The sewer works are expected to have been completed by 5th May 2017 but the road will be closed again during the course of this order for final highway alterations and reinstatement.
