THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (VARIOUS ROADS, DISTRICT OF EDEN) (CONSOLIDATION AND PROVISION OF TRAFFIC REGULATIONS) ORDER 20><

1. The Cumbria County Council hereby give notice that it proposes to make the above Order under Sections 1, 2, 19, 32, 35, 35A, 38, 45, 46, 47, 49, 51, 53 and 64 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and Part 6 of the Traffic Management Act 2004.



2. The effect of the proposed Order will be to: -



(a) Consolidate the provisions of the following Orders: -



i. The County of Cumbria (Various Roads, District of Eden) (Consolidation and Provision of Traffic Regulations) Order 2021; and



ii. The County of Cumbria (Various Roads, District of Eden) (Consolidation and Provision of Traffic Regulations) (Order 2021) Variation (No. 1) Order 2022; and



(b) Introduce "No Waiting At Any Time" restrictions on parts of



the following: -

i. Market Street, Musgrave Lane and the U3315 and the U3316 in



Brough;

ii. Greenside Road and the U3456 Greenside Loop Road (to replace the "No Waiting At Any time - Good Friday to 30th September inclusive) restrictions, and The Headlands in Glenridding;



iii. Nateby Road, North Road and The Crescent in Kirkby Stephen;



iv. The A592 in Stybarrow Crag;



v. The A5091 Park Brow in Ullswater;



vi. The A592 Cow Bridge in Hartsop;



vii. The C3027 Armathwaite Bridge in Armathwaite;



viii. The C3043 and the B5320 in Yanwath;



ix. The C3046 in Lowther;



x The U3123 Burns, the U3123, the U3124, Fell Side and Station Road in Threlkeld;

(c) Extend the "No Waiting, 9 am - 5 pm, March to October inclusive" restrictions on Church Croft in Pooley Bridge;



(d) Remove the "No Waiting Monday - Saturday inclusive - 8 am - 6 pm" restrictions on Hartley Road and replace them with "No Waiting at Any Time" restrictions;



(e) Remove the "No Waiting 9am - 7pm March to October inclusive" restrictions on the B5320 Pooley Bridge to Aira Green road B5320 and replace them with "No Waiting at Any Time" restrictions;



(f) Remove the "No Waiting At Any Time - Good Friday to 30th September inclusive" restrictions on the U3456 Greenside Loop Road and replace with No Waiting at Any Time restrictions;



(g) Introduce a "Prohibition of Motor Vehicles (Except for Access)" restriction on Mosedale Old Bridge and Access Road, and on the U3315 Brough.



(h) Introduce a 7.5 Tonnes maximum gross weight limit (except for Access) on the C1036 and the C3019 in Blencow;



(i) Introduce a 10 Tonnes maximum gross weight limit (no exemptions) on Rose Bridge, Hartley;



(j) Introduce a "One-Way Traffic" restriction on the B6259 Victoria Square, Kirkby Stephen (in a north-easterly direction); and

(k) Introduce a "2.0m/6'6" width restriction" on the U3457 in Glenridding.
