DIVERSION OF FOOTPATH 581040, OUTMOSS & SMITHY COTTAGE,

LINDETH LANE, WINDERMERE PARISH Diversion of the footpath at Outmoss & Smithy Cottage between SD 4117 9515 through the garden to the road at SD 4120 9518 to a new route just south of the garden to SD 4124 9517, as shown on the order plan. Order and plan locally viewable at Windermere Tourist Information Centre, Victoria Street, Windermere, LA23 IAD EXTINGUISHMENT OF REDUNDANT SECTIONS OF FOOTPATHS -

HAWKSHEADTOWRAY Extinguishment of short redundant sections of footpaths that have been replaced by new adjacent bridleways at Black Beck (SD 3533 9839 to SD 3544 9854), Loanthwaite (SD 3548 9913 to SD 3554 9928), Birkwray (SD 3551 9966 to SD 3560 9966) and Blelham Tarn (NY 3625 0023 to NY 3617 0038) totalling about 600 metres, as shown on the order plan. Order and plan locally viewable at Hawkshead Tourist Information Centre, Main Street, Hawkshead, Cumbria LA22 ONS. Any person who wishes to claim compensation under Section 28 of the 1980 Act for depreciation or damage by disturbance arising as a result of the orders must make a claim in writing to the Solicitor to the Authority to arrive not later than 28 April 2022 The orders will come into force on 28 October 2021. If any person aggrieved by either of the orders wants to question their validity, or any provision contained in them, they can apply to the High Court within six weeks from 28 October 2021. The grounds for applying are that: the order was not made within the powers of the Highways Act 1980 (as amended), or that any requirement of the Act (as amended), or of any regulation made under the Act has not been complied with.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC PATH CREATION AGREEMENT 2021 SECTION 25 HIGHWAYS ACT1980 CREATION OF PUBLIC FOOTPATH 581083 TO ORREST HEAD SUMMIT, WINDERMERE PARISH The Lake District National Park Authority has entered into agreements to create a public footpath from the existing footpath 581029 south of Orrest Head at SD 4138 9926, eastwards, then north-westwards to Orrest Head Summit at SD41419931. We would like to thankSouth Lakeland District Council and Windermere & Bowness Town Council for dedicating this path to the public. The route of the new path can be seen at
