Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
Notice is hereby given pursuant to paragraph 8(2) of Schedule 15 to the WSdlife and Countryside Act 1981 that the Inspector appointed by the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to determine the Cumbria County CouncS (Parishes of Old Hutton & Holmescales and New Hutton: District of South Lakeland) Definitive Map ModificatUn Order (No 2) 2017 proposes to modify the Order by providing for the following modificatUns intended to include reference to a ford at St Sunday's Beck:
In the Order schedule
 In Part 1: Modification of the Definitive Map
- For section A-B in 'DescriptUn of length of right of way to be added', delete "centreline of bridge ..." and substitute "bridge and adjacent ford
- For sectUn B-C in 'DescriptUn of length of right of way to be upgraded to restricted byway', delete "centreline of bridge ..." and substitute "bridge and adjacent ford

In Part 2: Modification of Definitive Statement
- Amend 'Width' for Path Numbers 560027 and 559011 by deleting "0.7 metres at bridge" and substitute in both cases: "widening (to a maximum of 6 metres) at bridge and ford as shown on the Ordnance Survey Second EditUn 25": 1 mSe map published in 1898".

A copy of the Order as submitted and a copy of the Order showing the proposed modificatUns together with the Inspector's Order decisUn dated 11 July 2019 have been deposited at Kendal Library, Stricklandgate, Kendal, Cumbria, LA9 4PY and may be inspected free of charge during normal working hours. Any representatUn or objectUn with respect to the proposed modificatUn may be sent in writing to Helen Sparks, Rights of Way SectUn, Room 3/A Eagle Wing, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay Bristol BS16PN, tel 0303 444 5646, quoting reference ROW/3196947, between 12 September 2019 and 10 October 2019 and must state the grounds on which it is made. It should be noted that any such representatUn or objectUn may be made avaSable for viewing by interested parties at the councS offices on request.
