THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN (VERNON STREET BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE)
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, will make the above Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow for the replacement of a manhole cover and frame.
The effect of the Order is to close Vernon Street from its junction with Mill Lane for a distance of 30 metres in a south easterly direction. The Order will come into force between 9:30am to 3:30pm on the 2nd October 2017 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 3:30pm on the 2nd October 2017. The diversion route for affected traffic will be via Mill Lane, Tattersall Street, Vernon Street and vice versa.
