THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN (CORPORATION STREET, BLACKBURN) (TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2017

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, made the above Order under Section 14(1)(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to allow works to replace a manhole frame and cover to be carried out.

The effect of the Order is to close Corporation Street, Blackburn, to all vehicular traffic from a point 20 metres north west of its junction with King Street, for a distance of 25 metres in a north westerly direction.

There will not be an alternative diversion route.

The Order will come into force at 8:00pm on Monday 17th April 2017, and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 11:30pm on the same day.

Access for pedestrians will be maintained at all times.
