Extension To: The Borough Of Blackburn With Darwen Footpaths 20 & 24 Blackburn Temporary Closure Order 2022

NOTICE is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred by section 15 (5) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 has approved of the continuing in force of the Order made on and effective from 14th April 2022. As the works have not been completed the Secretary of State for Transport granted a further extension of the Order until 13th April 2024 or until completion of the works, whichever is the earlier. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the I footpaths referred to in the Schedule below due to works being carried out on the line of the right of way. The alternative routes available (if any) are referred to in the schedule below.The paths will be closed in the interest of public safety.
