The Borough of Blackburn with Darwen (B6233 Pleckgate Road, Blackburn) (Temporary Road Closure) Order 2018
NOTICE is hereby given that the Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council, intend to make the above Order under Section 14(1 )(a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the Order is to close B6233 Pleckgate Road near the railway bridge. The closure is neccessary for the following reason: to allow stone wing wall to be taken down and re-built.
The Order will come into force on 16th July 2018 and shall continue in force for a period of eighteen months or until the works are completed, whichever is the earlier. However, it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 27th July 2018.
The alternative route for the affected traffic will be from A6119 east and west bound then back onto Pleckgate road and vice versa.
Access for emergency vehicles and pedestrians
will be maintained at all times.
