THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (C5028 HIGH CUNSEY BRIDGE, NEAR FAR SAWREY) (TEMPORARY 7.5 TONNES MAXIMUM GROSS VEHICLE WEIGHT RESTRICTION) ORDER 2022
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that because of the likelihood of danger to the public, as a result of a weak bridge, the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle any vehicle exceeding 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight from proceeding along that section of C5028, near Far Sawrey from its junction with the U5057, extending in a southerly direction, over High Cunsey Bridge, for a total distance of approximately 47 metres.
A suitable alternative route for vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes MGW, will be available via the unrestricted sections of the C5028, B5285, C5027, C5026.
N.B. This follows emergency notices date 31 January 2022 and 21 February 2022.

The Order will come into operation on 14 March 2022 and may
continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months, as
and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
