HUTTON LANE, LEVENS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC) ORDER 2021
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable B4RN to carry out installation works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) from proceeding along the following sections of road:-
1. C5066 Sedbergh Road, Kendal: From its {unction with the C5067 Paddy Lane extending in a westerly direction for approx 125m.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of the C5066 Sedbergh Road, the A684 Castle Green Road and Singleton Park Road, and the C5067 Paddy Lane. From: 9 June 2021 for approx. 3 days (Ret SLC2I/08)

2. U5347 Endmoor: From its junction with the A65 extending in a south westerly direction for approx 528m.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted section of the U5347, and theA65.
From: 28June 2021 for approx 5 days (Ret SLC2I/09)

3. U56I5 Hutton Lane, Levens: From a point approx 263m north of its junction with the C5059 Lowgate extending in a northerly direction for approx. 170m.
Alternative route: via the unrestricted sections of the U56I5, U56I7 and C5059.

From: 5 July 2021 for approx 3 days (Ret SLC21 /05) Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:

1. Apply to emergency service personnel, vehicles, or vehicles being used by statutory undertakers in the performance of their duties; and

2. Apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform; and

3. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the roads, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the roads; and

4. Apply to personnel or vehicles being used in connection with the Works.

The Order will come into operation on 9 June 2021 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months, However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required as specified above and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
