EXTENSION TO: THE BOROUGH OF BLACKBURN WITH DARWEN FOOTPATHS 80. 52. and 51 (parti BLACKBURN LOWER PHILLIPS ROAD (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2017 Notice is hereby given that the Secretary of State for Transport in pursuance of the power conferred by sub-section (5) of the aforementioned Section 15 has approved of the continuing in force of the Order made on 13th July 2017 and effective from 13th July 2017. As the works have not been completed The Secretary of State for Transport granted a further extension of the Order until 13th July 2021 or until completion of work, whichever is the earlier.
The effect of the Order will be to prohibit any persons from using the footpath referred to in the Schedule below due to works being carried out on the line of the right of way. The alternative routes available are referred to in the schedule below.
The paths will be closed in the interests of public safety. Any queries concerning the closure should be made by telephoning Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council on 01254 585114
