THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (FOOTPATH NO.540005 IN THE PARISH OF KIRKBY LONSDALE) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF PEDESTRIANS) ORDER 2018

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Peter Brett Associates to carry out construction works in the vicinity of Footpath No.540005 at Queen Elizabeth Secondary School, Kirkby Lonsdale ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria has made an Order the effect of which is to prohibit pedestrians from proceeding along that section of Footpath No.540005 in the Parish of Kirkby Lonsdale from its junction with the A65 Bentinck Drive, extending in a northerly direction for approx 105m to its junction with Biggins Road.

There is no suitable alternative route available for pedestrians. The Order will come into operation on 30 April 2018 and may continue in force for a period of up to six months from that date as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
