THE LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL [PUBLIC FOOTPATH NO. 127 BUHNLEY, BURNLEY BOROUGH) [TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Lancashire County Council Intend to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which is to prohibit temporarily any pedestrian from proceeding over that length of Public Footpath No. 127 Burnley, in the Borough of Burnley, indicated below:-
That part of Public Footpath No. 127 Burnley, Burnley Borough, from the junction with Public Footpath No. 126 Burnley at Point A (GR 385071 432654) in a generally south direction for a distance of approximately 180 metres to point B (GR 385018 432487) which is approximately 40 metres from Brunshaw Road (C660).
The closure is necessary whilst works are carried out on or near the footpath.
Access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the footpath, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from, the footpath, will be maintained at all times.
Nothing in the order shall apply to emergency service vehicles or to those undertaking the works.
The Order will be operative from the 5th March, 2018, for a period of 4 weeks or until the works are completed within this period.
