LANCASHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL
(EUXTON LANE, EUXTON, CHORLEY BOROUGH) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF THROUGH TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Lancashire County Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) (a) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, the effect of which will be to temporarily prohibit traffic on the roads set out in this notice.
1. No person shall cause any motor vehicle or cycle to proceed over that length of Euxton Lane, Chorley for approximately 20m either side of the railway bridge.

2. The prohibition will be operative from 2200 hours until 0600 hours on both the 17th February 2018 to 18th February 2018 and 24th February 2018 until 25" February 2018 or until completion of the works within this period. Pedestrian will be marshalled through the closure. Access for emergency services will be maintained if required.

3. An alternative route for vehicular traffic affected by the closure Is vla:-Euxton Lane - Wigan Road - A581 Balshaw Lane -B5252 and vice versa.
The temporary prohibition is necessary to allow the removal of vegetation and the installation of hazard warning signage on the bridge works to be carried out. Authority given for this Order to be made: Michael White,
