ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 - SECTION 14 THE M6 MOTORWAY [JUNCTION 34 EXIT SLIP ROADS) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF TRAFFIC) ORDER 2017

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that Highways England Company Limited (Company No. 09346363) intends to make an Order on the M6 Motorway in the City of Lancaster in the County of Lancashire to enable grass cutting and other general maintenance works to be carried out in safety. The Order will ban all traffic from the following M6 slip roads:-

i) the northbound exit slip road at Junction 34;
ii) the southbound exit slip road at Junction 34. The prohibitions are expected to take place between 2000 hours and 0600 hours during the nights of:-
i) Monday 7 August 2017;
ii) Monday 11 September 2017;
iii.) Monday 30 October 2017;
iv) Monday 27 November 2017.

However, works may start and continue between the same times on subsequent nights or continue until completed.
Diversion routes via alternative junctions of the M6 Motorway and local roads will be well signed. The prohibitions will not apply to emergency services, works, winter maintenance, or traffic officer vehicles and will only apply during such times and to such extent as shall from time to time be indicated by traffic signs.
