BURY ROAD & GARSTANG AVENUE -
TEMPORARY CLOSURE & ONE-WAY TRAFFIC
The Council intends to make an order, operative from 15 January 2023 between the hours of 9.30am and 3pm, the effect of which will be to prohibit all traffic from proceeding on Garstang Avenue from Bury Rd to Back Bury Rd South and to implement one-way traffic on Bury Road from Milnthorpe Rd to Garstang Ave (eastbound only), to allow manhole repairs to take place. Alternate route for westbound traffic will be Radcliffe Moor Rd, Countess Ln, Stopes Rd, High St, Market St, Church St, Hall Ln, Loxham St, Manchester Rd, Bridgeman PI, Bradford St.
The Order will end after 18 months or on completion of the works whichever first occurs.
