The County Of Cumbria (C200i Plumbland) (Temporary Traffic Regulation) (No.2) Order 2022

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable MB Construction Ltd to carry out works for a new sewer connection ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria intends to make an Order the effect of which is to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding along that section of the C2001 Plumbland, from its junction with the C2084, extending in a north easterly direction for approx. 115 metres.

A way for pedestrians and dismounted cyclists will be maintained at all times and a suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the C2001, the A595 Bothel and the B5301.

Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall:
1. Have the effect of preventing at any time access for pedestrians to any premises situated on or adjacent to the road, or to any other premises accessible for pedestrians from, and only from the road; and

, quoting the reference AL22-310. The Order will come into operation on 1 August 2022 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restriction will only be required for 5 days and only as and when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed.
