THE COUNTY OF CUMBRIA (U5627 HELM LANE, NATLAND) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF ALL TRAFFIC] ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that to enable Network Rail to carry out masonry works ("the Works"), the County Council of Cumbria Intends to make an Order the effect of which Is to prohibit all traffic (i.e. vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists) from proceeding along that section of the U5627 Helm Lane, Natland from a point approx. 265m west of its junction with the A65 extending in a north westerly direction for approx. 90m. A suitable alternative route for vehicles will be signed and available via the unrestricted sections of the U5627, U5626 and A65.
Nothing in the Order to which this notice relates shall apply to vehicles and personnel being used in connection with the Works. Any queries to the Highways Hotline 0300 303 2992 or email

quoting the reference SL19/7048. The Order will come into operation on 9 January 2020 and may continue in force for a maximum duration of eighteen months. However, please note that it is anticipated that the restrictions will only be required for 6 weeks and only as and when the relevant traffic signs are displayed.
