Holiday cottage company owner Sally Fielding climbed to the roof of one of her firm's cottages to promote the business.

The woman in charge of Sally's Cottages, which has its office in Keswick, had a cup of tea, took in the sunshine and jumped up and down on the top of the building.

She said: “We are always looking for new ways to celebrate the beauty of the Lake District.”

“We shot these photos at Wallthwaite Farmhouse, which has stunning views of Blencathra and the surrounding fells. It’s a real taste of the beauty you are surrounded by when enjoying a comfy break in the Lakes.”

Blencathra featured prominently in a project by Sally’s Cottages in 2014, when a small team from the firm, including Mrs Fielding and her husband, Rob, carried a desk to the top of the fell to create an ‘office in the clouds’.

The company has gained local and national recognition for their eye-catching photos.

A photo shoot of a floating bedroom – which depicted Sally relaxing on Derwentwater on a bed complete with throws, pillows, bedside tables, and a table lamp – will be featured at the London Business Show later this year. International company Vistaprint will present the project to demonstrate to other small businesses that interesting results can be achieved on a small budget.
