Leading Cumbrian firm Lamont Pridmore has been named England’s Best Chartered Accountants.

Lamont Pridmore was given its latest plaudit by international business publication, Global 100, in recognition of its success in Cumbria during the last 12 months as well as its wider influence on the accountancy profession in the UK.

Graham Lamont, chief executive at Lamont Pridmore, said: “We are very excited to be recognised once again by the readers of Global 100.

"To be named as the Best Chartered Accountants of the Year for the whole of England is a real honour and a testament to the hard work of our team and the support of our clients.”

Lamont Pridmore has enjoyed a successful year so far winning several awards in recognition of its work, including taking home titles at the National Family Business Awards.

In order to achieve its ranking, the firm had to receive no less than 21 per cent of votes from the global readership of the publication, which is currently in excess of 293,000.

This is the second year in a row that Lamont Pridmore has received an award from the Global 100, after it was named Dynamic Advisory Firm of the Year in 2017.
