Delegates from as far away as America and the United Arab Emirates are set to arrive at today’s n-eboc conference.

The international specialists from the nuclear sector will come to Cumbria for the nuclear energy business opportunities conference or n-eboc which is running for the next two days.

The conference is an opportunity for businesses from the nuclear sector to network, build relationships and make the most of the investments being made in the nuclear sector in Cumbria.

Dr Todd Allen, Deputy Laboratory Director of Science and Technology will be speaking during the Nuclear Research and Development session at the Idaho National Laboratory.

Other speakers at the event include Lord Andrew Mawson and Lord John Hutton, who was the Labour Member of Parliament for Barrow and Furness for 18 years until he was invited into the House of Lords in 2010.

In addition to the speakers there will be international delegates coming to Cumbria to take part in the event and to witness the developments being made in the area with respect to nuclear power.
