A new digital marketing agency has been created after companies from Lancaster and Kendal joined forces.

Digitaloft is due to launch next week after two agencies from across the Bay area merged.

James Brockbank Ltd and Kentdale Digital Media merged at the end of 2015 to create Digitaloft, a full service digital agency.

Based in Lancaster, James Brockbank Ltd worked on a number of national headline grabbing campaigns for a wide variety of clients, while Kentdale Digital Media, based in Kendal, focussed on web design and search engine optimisation.

Currently operating with a team of five, though this looks set to increase as soon as next week, the businesses saw a gap in the market to court clients that might be overfaced by a large organisation

Director of Digitaloft, James Brockbank said: “We’re a full service digital marketing agency specialising in search engine optimisation, paid search, social media marketing, press relations and web design.

“Between myself and my new business partner, we’ve got plenty of experience in the industry working with smaller companies and bigger players and we think we know how to do things the right way.

“Our company is set-up to work with businesses of all sizes, while some smaller agencies might not have the resources for a larger client we believe we’ve managed to bridge that gap.”

“We’re still small enough to care, but big enough to make a difference.”

The company will unveil its new website and branding next week before a full launch at a business event in Preston next week.

The company directors are confident that opening with two locations across the Bay area will be able to attract more clients to do business with them.

Mr Brockbank added: “The company launches officially next Friday at the Lancashire Business Expo which has really spurred on out launch date.

“Myself and Jon merged our companies at the end of last year and have been working while we worked on the creation of the new company and ensuring that we have two locations across the North West.

“We’re happy to work fluidly across our sites to make sure that our clients can meet us at either site and get the full service from our business.”
