Penrith's North Lakes NLG Window Systems has taken a prestigious industry award.
The company, based in Hartness Road, took the best new member prize from Network VEKA, an organisation representing the best in window installation.
To become a member of the group companies go through a strict application process and agree to routine audits and follow-ups to make sure that all products and services are up to standards.
This is North Lakes' first year as a member and the prize was presented in Warwick.
Snooker legend Steve Davis, who is a brand ambassador for Network VEKA, was at the event. He said: “Congratulations to North Lakes for winning its first ever Network VEKA award and well done to all the other newcomers this year. Keep up the good work.”
Head of partner programmes for VEKA, Karen Lund, added: “Best new member is such a special award because it announces to everyone that you're here and you've got the Network VEKA message spot on."
