LETTINGS firm Sally's Cottages has received 100 bookings a day in 2017, a record for the company.
The business, which is based in Keswick, has a network of 370 properties across the Lake District, letting them on behalf of property owners.
It was set up in 2003 and took £5.6m worth of bookings last year.
Owner Sally Fielding said: “We strive for exceptional customer service and are lucky to have a fantastic team of 15 members of staff and over 100 freelancers who all work hard to provide dream holidays for thousands of visitors every year.
"It is a testament to everyone’s hard work that we have achieved such great results.”
The company began when Mrs Fielding sublet a neighbour’s cottage and spotted a business opportunity. It has a strong social media presence more than 250,000 Facebook likes and more than 8,500 Twitter followers.
She said: “We’re always looking for new ways to give our customers and cottage owners the best experience and we’ve got a lot of exciting plans for 2017."
