Cumbria's celebrity chef Simon Rogan has announced he will leave his Fera restaurant in Claridge's Hotel , London, at the end of this month.

The man behind L'Enclume in Cartmel took over from Gordon Ramsay in 2014.

Cumbrian property company Prospus Group - which has offices in Warwick Bridge and Kirkby Stephen - has appointed Peter Walls as a non-executive director.

He was formerly chief executive of north east based property business, Gentoo Group .

The H&H Group have appointed a new managing director for its company H&H Land & Property .

James Murphy, who joined the firm last October, will take on the role. Before joining H&H Land and Property , he was head of estates for the ANM Group and worked in private practice in Scotland as a Senior Land Agent.

Telecoms giant BT has appointed a new senior executive, Simon Yellowley, to head up its public sector business in the north of England.

Mr Yellowley has worked at BT for 19 years, in which time he has worked in a number of areas from consultancy to major deals and sales management. He will lead a team of 20 people, with a strategic focus on building local relationships with customers in the north of England such as local authorities, local NHS organisations, universities and housing associations.
