An accounting and software systems supplier has been named software partner of the year 2017 for the northern region by global business technology giant Pegasus.

Monpellier - which has offices in Harraby, Carlisle as well as in Durham - has been recognised above all other partner businesses across the north of England, Scotland and Northern Ireland for its high sale volumes in the last financial year.

The firm has shown consistent growth over the past 10 years, overtaking several much larger companies to become Pegasus number one sales partner and it is also designed as a centre of excellence by the American firm.

Director Tom Cram joined the business as it became a Pegasus partner 13 years ago. With well over 100 years’ Pegasus knowledge within the team, we’re proud of the wealth of expertise we can offer our clients.”

The company is expanding and has appointed a new account manager for the north west and Scotland, Joe Routledge, as well as two apprentices in the Carlisle office.

As well as being a Pegasus business partner, the company is also are also a Sage business partner, Kamarin Computers EPOS and Zynk Software Partners.

It has partnered with PCI Services who supply and support IT hardware and infrastructure who are located near the Durham office. Pegasus was set up in 1981 and was one of the first companies to write Microsoft-compatible software.
