This 15.4-km loop trail near Brockenhurst is described as a moderately challenging route, which should take around three and a half hours to complete.

It will take you "through the beautiful countryside and forests of the New Forest National Park" with much of the route being on gravel paths.

Pitton to Clarendon Ruins Circular

This 8.5-km loop trail near Mottisfont is described as "suitable to most abilities" which should take slightly over two hours to complete.

There is "beautiful scenery and woodland" to take in and "a good pub in Pitton" to finish the walk at if you fancy it.

Meon Valley Circular

If you want a longer route to explore then this 40.6-km walk in the Meon Valley will take around 10 hours to complete in its entirety.

The profile adds: "Enjoy this varied countryside trail taking you through the farmlands and woodlands of the Meon Valley between Droxford, Soberton, Hambledon, Chidden, Coombe Cross, and Warnford."

Acres Down Woodland

This 4.2-km loop trail near Lyndhurst is considered to be an easy route that should take just over an hour to complete.

It follows wide, well-maintained gravel tracks with gentle slopes, with no gates or stiles.

The area has free-roaming ponies so that will need to be kept in mind with dogs on the walk.

Chalton Down Circular

This 9.8-km loop trail near Waterlooville is considered to be a moderately challenging walk and should take just under three hours to complete.

You can enjoy "beautiful views and scenic paths over the open downs" and along the way you will pass the "ancient St Hubert's Church".

Royal Oak Circular

Another relatively easy dog walk can be found in the Royal Oak Circular which should take you under an hour to complete.

The short stroll has "pretty views of the woods and open heath" and you can enjoy a drink at the Royal Oak pub across the street from the car park once you're done.

Acres Down Woods

This 4.8-km loop trail near Lyndhurst is considered to be an easy route that takes around an hour and 10 minutes to complete.

There are plenty of "scenic paths" to enjoy and it is recommended to "keep an eye out for wildlife while taking in the great views on offer".

Fritham Circular

This 9.0-km loop trail near Fritham should take just over two hours to complete and has plenty of views of the rolling countryside.

The profile adds: "The mix of open heath and dense forest makes for a nice variety of scenery. Enjoy a bite or refreshments at the pub near the car park."

The Leather Bottle and Whitewater Valley

This 4.7-km loop trail near Hook is another relatively short route that should take about one hour to complete.
