Greek street food company set to return for second Carlisle pop-up

Acropolis Street Food will hold its second pop-up at Carlisle's Everlast Gym on Wednesday, March 27 less than two weeks after its first pop-up in the city received a 'warm welcome'. 

The pop-up from the street food company that was established in 2016 in the North East will feature Greek street food favourites such as chicken gyro, lamb souvlaki, and halloumi bites.

Since becoming a staple in the Northeast, Acropolis Street Food has opened eight permanent restaurants across the region and hosts several pop-ups.

Ahead of their latest visit to Carlisle, they described how the reception they received at their first pop-up has led to plans being drawn up to make the city a 'regular spot'.

A spokesperson for Acropolis Street Food said: "We’re always looking for more pop-ups to serve from and we’re very happy with our first pop-up in Carlisle so we’re looking to have that a regular spot."
