A seasoned construction manager who has been involved in the development of tens of thousands of homes across the North West has joined Genesis Homes.
David Graziano brings a wealth of experience from his previous management roles at Redrow, Miller Homes and Bellway Homes Manchester.
With a track record spanning nearly three-and-a-half decades, his expertise will now be channelled into Cumbrian-based Genesis Homes.
He assumes his new role as the construction director, excited to take on this new challenge.
Mr Graziano said: "The time felt right for a new challenge, and this is an opportunity I’m really excited about.
"I’m a fan of the Genesis Homes product and its specifications, and I was really impressed with managing director Nicky Gordon’s ambitions to grow the business.
“What is core to Genesis Homes is its overall brand and making sure all its developments are consistent, and that customer satisfaction and industry standards are always achieved.
“This is something vital to me as I will move heaven and earth to make sure I deliver what I set out to.
“There is nothing more satisfying in the role than seeing the delight on the faces of your customers receiving the keys to their new home after you have turned a piece of land into a desirable place to live.”
Mr Graziano's journey in construction management started as a trainee assistant manager at Redrow.
After serving four years there, he moved on to Miller Homes.
Here he climbed the corporate ladder to eventually become the contracts manager.
He then spent 16 years at Miller, before Bellway Homes hired him as a senior contracts manager in 2016.
By 2022, he earned his place as the head of construction.
He said: "My goals have never changed.
"I want to achieve what we say we will achieve - customer satisfaction and building homes that people want to live in.
“What makes this possible is working with everyone in the office right through to the junior quantity surveyor to make sure every department knows what the other is doing, and that helps every department work more effectively.”
Managing director of Genesis Homes, Nicky Gordon, expressed his delight at having someone of Mr Graziano's calibre on the team.
Mr Gordon said: "Attracting somebody with such a high level of expertise, experience and knowledge of working in the construction industry is a major milestone in the Genesis Homes journey.
“David is one of the best in the business and we are excited about seeing how he can help drive up standards across the whole team with his leadership capabilities and great eye for detail.
“I’m so proud of how quickly Genesis Homes has developed over the years, and I’m looking forward to seeing how far we will grow now that we have enlisted the services of somebody as esteemed as David.”
Mr Graziano is based out of Genesis Homes’ new headquarters in Penrith.
