The Alcedo Care Healthcare Group Home, which operates branches in Kendal and Ulverston, has been honoured with an award designating them as one of the top 20 large home care groups in the UK.
With the UK boasting 762 home care groups and 11,848 home care providers, being named in the top 20 is an 'incredible achievement'.
The honour was bestowed by www.homecare.co.uk, a leading home care reviews site.
Alcedo Care, which now manages 20 offices spanning the North of England and Wales, has earned the award for the fourth consecutive year.
The accolade is based on reviews from those receiving care from the group as well as feedback from their friends and relatives.
The managing director of Alcedo Care, Andy Boardman, expressed his pleasure at receiving the award yet again.
