Actress and Strictly Come Dancing star Ellie Taylor has announced she is pregnant in a heartwarming post.

Taking to Instagram to share the happy news, Taylor posted a picture of herself and her daughter kissing the bump.

Captioning the post, the Ted Lasso actress wrote: “Excited. Terrified. Grateful. Hungry."

The Strictly star also wrote another message alongside the sweet picture, sharing: “Pregnancy has been a funny old topic for me over the last few years and I've sometimes found it tricky following prego people online.

"For anyone in a similar headspace, if the idea of the inevitable baby spam that will follow makes you feel a bit weird, then I lovingly encourage you to be kind to your brainbox and mute or unfollow me. I hope you'll be back but whatever your situation, I wish you love and clarity as you continue to navigate your own journey."

Friends and fans of Taylor were quick to take to the comments to share their congratulations, as The One Shows Alex Jones wrote: “Yay!!!!!”

Whilst Radio One’s Clara Amfo wrote: “You’re lovely, congratulations!!” and Carol Vorderman said: “Wishing you all the very very best.”

Fellow Strictly star Angela Scanlon said: “CONGRATULATIONS!!!! So so happy for you xxxx”

Taylor is married to news correspondent Phil Black and have been married since 2014 and welcomed their daughter Valentina in 2018.

The actress took part in Strictly Come Dancing in 2022 with her dance partner Johannes Radebe and was eliminated in the ninth round.
