A WOMAN who admitted assaulting two police officers has been given a two-year community order by magistrates.
Brittany Holmes, of Rawlinson Street, Barrow, pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to two assault-by-beating charges and one of criminal damage.
On December 21 in Barrow, Holmes assaulted PC 3224 Whyke and PC 3261 Kenny and damaged a Cumbria Police van.
At South Cumbria Magistrates' Court, the 23-year-old was sentenced to a two-year community order ending May 30 2025 and 100 hours of unpaid work.
Holmes must also complete 30 days of rehabilitation activity and a 19-day Thinking Skills programme.
She was also ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £114 surcharge.
