A BOAT master will appear in court accused of speeding on Windermere.
Andrew Ashby, of Woodgreaves Avenue in Wakefield, is accused of being the master of a vessel, a grey and black Seadoo RXT 255RS, and caused or permitted it to be navigated at a speed greater than 10 knots on Windermere at the vicinity of High Wray Bay on September 2, 2022.
He is also accused of causing or permitting a vessel to be navigated at a speed greater than six knots on Windermere in the vicinity of Waterhead on September 3, 2022. He has previously pleaded not guilty to the charges.
He will appear at South Cumbria Magistrates’ Court for a trial on June 2.
