He will appear at Preston Crown Court
A MAN has been remanded in custody after he was charged with rape.
Sadam Bahaderi, aged 25, of no fixed address, appeared at Barrow Magistrates’ Court yesterday (May 30) charged with rape.
He was remanded in custody and will next appear at Preston Crown Court on June 27, 2023.
The charge follows an investigation into an incident reported to have occurred in the early hours of May 28, in the vicinity of Cavendish Street in Barrow.
The victim, a woman aged in her 20s, is being supported by specialist officers.
