The Inn Collection Group, which has a number of hotels in Cumbria, has been recognised as one of the UK’s best places to work.

The organisation has been listed as one of the UK’s best places to work by The Sunday Times.

They have a number of establishments across Cumbria including The Pheasant Inn at Bassenthwaite, The Angel Inn at Bowness-On-Windermere, The Swan at Grasmere, The Coniston Inn and more.

A recent survey of employees by The Inn Collection Group showed 78 per cent of respondents declared themselves “happy” at work.

They recognised that creating happier working environments by fostering engagement benefits the whole company.

With more than 1,000 employees across the group, The Inn Collection Group’s mission of “making people happy” has been directed internally to support people in their personal and professional development.

During the past year they have established a seven-strong People Team to tirelessly work to attract, nurture and support talented individuals across the company.

This has led to partnering with local communities, educational groups and establishments and the development of new training programmes, including a recent focus on preventing workplace stress and supporting mental health for managers.

The Inn Collection Group also offers attractive benefits with discounted food and stays for colleagues, their family and friends among other perks.  

The Inn Safe Hands support programme comes through Hospitality Action, which supports colleagues in their lives away from work too.
