THE Kendal branch of a national fashion retailer has closed its doors.
Crew Clothing, on Wainwrights Yard, has lain empty since early May, leaving the future of the store uncertain.
The fascia of the store has now been removed, and bosses have posted a message on the door of the premises, that says: "Our Kendal store is now closed.
"Don’t worry, you can continue to shop with us online at crewclothing.com."
The company was established in 1993, selling nautically-themed fashion, and has over 100 stores throughout the UK.
The closure leaves the shop on Ash Street, Bowness, as the only Crew Clothing store open in south Cumbria.
