NEWQUEST'S prestigious in-Cumbria magazine will be hosting its second South Cumbria networking event this week.

The in-Cumbria networking event for will take place in South Cumbria once again this Thursday, March 16 at the Carus Green in Kendal after initial success at the first of it's kind in the south of the county back in February.

On the back of hugely successful events held in Carlisle, the in-Cumbria team decided to branch out to the South of the county as the magazine heads towards its 100th edition, which was greatly received at the inaugural event.

Businesses are invited to gather in an informal setting in a stunning location and take the opportunity to meet new people as well as take the time to connect with established contacts.

This months 'soap box stars' will be Jonathan Jeffrey, Corporate Sales Executive, Lloyd South Lakes BMW & Mini and Caroline Howsley, CEO, Cumbria Deaf Association.

The events provide opportunities for networkers to develop their business contacts and meet other like minded people in an informal setting.

Speaking about the last event, Joel Osbourne, hotel broker at Christie & Co, said: "They are a great platform to meet other like-minded people keen to engage and understand how their business can assist and help out others, and how other businesses can help them, all being done in a social environment.
