ECO I NW: Exploring the innovation needs of a sustainable future for all

This free event is taking place to celebrate and share the learning from the Eco-I NW project in Cumbria, and explore the topic of sustainable innovation.

Short presentations, the first screening of a commissioned film about peatland restoration in north Cumbria (highlighting the work of University of Cumbria PhD researcher Jack Brennand), and two workshops focusing on data (research and facts) and narratives (stories and communication) as drivers of innovation/change form much of the day’s agenda. Author and TV presenter Simon Reeve will also be joining in a conversation on sustainable innovation and a Q&A session.
