FOR the sixth year in a row the Merewood Country House Hotel has achieved two AA rosettes for its fine-dining restaurant 'Arboreal.'
A restaurant with two AA rosettes has to provide an outstanding culinary experience that competes with some of the best establishments in the UK.
Head Chef Ambrus Kipke provides a seven-course taster menu to guests and says that he uses locally sourced and seasonal produce for the best ingredients.
Ambrus said: “Achieving two AA rosette status for the sixth year in a row is a validation of what we are striving to achieve. We do all we can to offer the ultimate fine dining experience.”
The hotel manager Robert Timms said: “This award recognises all the hard work, passion, enthusiasm and dedication of the entire team and we could not be prouder."
Merewood is between Ambleside and Windermere and overlooks the lake.
