APPLICATIONS to work as an apprentice with a manufacturing company in Barrow are now being welcomed.
Gen2 is working in partnership with manufacturer Kimberly-Clark to recruit their next intake of apprentices who will be working at the Barrow mill.
A number of roles will be available to apply to with the apprenticeships set to begin in September this year.
A Gen2 spokesman said: “We are pleased to announce that we are working in partnership with Kimberly-Clark to recruit their next intake of engineering apprentices to work at Barrow Mill.
“They are recruiting a number of electrical and mechanical apprentices to start their apprenticeship in September 2023. The apprenticeships are open to any age above 16. “This is a unique opportunity to work with a reputable employer, gaining an apprenticeship, real work experience and nationally recognised qualifications, all whilst being paid.”
