A SOUTH Lakes and Furness home care provider has been shortlisted as a finalist in the national Home Care Awards 2023.

The Home Care Awards are an annual benchmark of excellence for UK companies and organisations providing all forms of care at home services.

Heydays Care and Support Services entered this year’s awards in two categories; Day Care Expertise and Palliative Care Expertise, and have been shortlisted for both categories to great delight.

Kelly Shaw, Co-Founder and Manger of Heydays Care and Support Services, said: “To find out that we’d been named as a finalist in two categories was fantastic! We weren’t expecting the news but it’s a lovely testament to the hard work and commitment of our entire team.

“Our company has been built around the philosophy of being ‘the heart of homecare’. Our staff really embrace this and our warm, caring culture is one of the things that makes us special”.

Heydays are an independent home care provider with offices in Barrow-in-Furness and Grange-over-Sands and have been operating in South Cumbria for over ten years. They currently employ a team of over 50 dedicated staff that work in and around both of these areas.

Home Care Awards Events Manager, Olivia McKelvie said, “Our Awards are designed to highlight brilliant examples of home care services and operations, giving businesses and individuals due recognition. This year both the number and the standard of entries was very high.”

The winners of the Home Care Awards 2023 will be announced at an awards lunch and presentation, hosted by Alan Dedicoat on Wednesday, March 22.
